Magic or Physics

My son showed this to me.....Can you figure out how this is possible??? The song by the way is by the legendary Queen and it's title is "It's a Kind of Magic."

the balance part is true by glospoiner but the flame stick to the cup because it melted the match or toothpick in to the cup

Essentially it is nothing but a force balance. In the configuration, you'll notice the legs of both the fork and spoon point towards the glass. When we think of utensils, we always focus on the business end of it, and not the handels. In reality, the center of mass of our utensils are down in the handle, as there is more mass there than in the ends, as the fork has prongs and the spoon has been hammered into a thin shell.

Since the c.o.g is down in the handle, this permits them to be balanced

In the manner shown, seemingly in a manner impossible. Alas it is no magic, but simple Newtonian Mechanics.

Now the reason the flame dies, is because the glass absorbs the energy (a thermodynamic heat sink), and as a consequence, the combustion reaction cannot sustain itself due to the sudden increase in fuel requirement, even though the tooth pick still remains.
