Midas touch has a glove filled with skittles.

As long as his hand has not came into contact with the glove, then it would not become skittles.

(Hand | skittles | glove)

- Hand touches Skittles(A)
-Skittles(A) turn into Skittles(B)
-Hand touches Skittles(B)
-Skittles(B) turn into Skittles(C)

The process would continue forever if left to itself, and the skittles would prevent his hand from ever touching the glove. Viola.
