Does anyone have the correct lyrics to this song? if so, what does he say after "And if by chance we both forget the passage of space and time between, pick up the pieces cold and wet. . ." It sounds like he says "dry them before the light to clean" but i'm trying to figure out for sure.

Hiya :)
I looked at a few lyric sites and you're almost right LOL
"...pick up the pieces cold and wet,
and DRIVE them before the light- to clean."
I think as in take the cold wet pieces and drive them in front of the light to purify them I guess.
Love Tears for Fears - this one of my faves now x

Thank you! That's what I saw as well, but I guess I just didn't understand the whole "drive" part. Thanks again! : )

I've liked them ever since I was a little girl, but recently I've just been obsessed with their music :)

This song should have been on the album. it's better than half the album. Very underrated album too.The song would have been even better had Roland gave it more time and changed the sound of the instrumental bridge in the middle of the song. Sounds a little cheezy. otherwise brilliant song.

...you're right.. it's got that sort of dramatic... ethereality to it..

Another shining example of Roland's genius. :D :D
