Does anyone know if they actually flew Christopher reeve over the falls in this scene or was it digital? It just looks so real compared to some of his flying scenes!

No sorry they did not, tjhe Railing and all was a build set. The scenes with the falls are done with greenscreen and overlayed. The landing scene was filmed at the Falls
