weimaraners become very attached and have separation anxiety..(to the one poster who mentioned they or the mom can't leave the house). They are WONDERUL..pets..protectors..hu nters. Grew up with two..through their lives...we rescued them after having been stolen and sold to a hospital for research. So SMART..they had been obedience trained. wouldn't let anyone near me unless I said so..in English or Deutsch. Wonderful companions.
