Looks and sounds like just a normal viola, except with amp attached (it's not clear enough for me to be sure, but I'm pretty sure she played a note that's too low for a violin, unless she used an alternate tuning for the strings). Plus, the tone is very viola-like - a bit too rich in the low registers for a violin.
