of course fox allowed it to air, there's no law saying you can't use christian songs publicly. a song is a song, no matter the content. school choirs, often sing christian songs because they're classics, there not trying to reform anyone.

This is my ALL time favorite American Idol performance....Unbelievable!!! !

isn't our GOd great!!! i love american idol watch it every season and this touched my heart to the core....I think that Jesus must have shed tears over this one..knowing this "worldly" show was sending out a message for him to the nations!!! AMEN and thank you Jesus for being our saviour our amazing Lord! Our wonderful merciful savious..how i love you, and offer you praise and adoration....

That is cool that they sang a Chritian song.
They are good

This gives me hope for the future. I love that this first time they sang the song they got to say "My JESUS". Jesus is amazing and I do believe his love worked on at least one person in that audience. I love it.
