People allowed the church too much control over them . This caused priests and Pope to have made a business out of religion! The Popes made up religion up as they went along over the last 2010 years. Not that I like the Jew pimp bastard religion! The Jews always created problems for others. That's why Jews were killed and/or thrownout of every country they resided in.

Please note that Muslims had suffered as well from the Inquisitions and not only Jews. In fact Isabella and Ferdinand were very very Fanatic Catholics who wanted to devout the whole spanish land for God and to make it ONLY a pure Christian Land. That is why they expelled all the other religions out of Iberia (Spain at that time). No need to mention the brutality of torture those people received from the Inquisitions.
