This simplified 3D medical animation depicts a normal vaginal birth using a time-lapse effect. Strong uterine contractions push the fetus (baby) forcibly through the birth canal during labor. Concurrently, a picture-in-picture effect at the upper right shows the baby's head moving through the mother's pelvic outlet.

I had a epidural and did fine and fix cars! Far as the epidural, it does take the edge off the pain but you still feel lots of pressure. It also made the labor last pretty long; for me it did.
Sorry to hear you had a stroke O.O Hope all is fine!
its a risk.. but you can also die during child birth. but again it's a risk.. though think about it, life is a damn risk. you could walk out the door and get hit by a car. you probably don't realize it, but you take risks every day of your life.
besides, my mother had an epidural when i was born, she's not paralyzed.
Being in labor for hours is really short? Having the baby grow inside you for nine months is really short? You have an interesting perception of time.

The funny thing is that that is how you came into the world.
