Great voice, but isn't she pronouncing Agnus wrong?

There are several types of Latin pronunciation used. I performed this a few years ago and our conductor, Robert Page, wanted us to use "German Latin" pronunciation as Mozart would have used. We have a musical historian in our choir and he had his own theories on what kind of Latin Mozart would have intended. Well, we did what the conductor wanted!

Since there are no Ancient Romans around to object, the main thing is that everyone in the chorus sing it the same way, haha.

@singer7308 , this is simply the Ecclesiastical pronunciation, used in many Catholic churches and in Mass, as opposed to the Classical pronunciation used in ancient Rome

I have to agree. This is a Grade 8 Piece with the ABRSM and the diction in this would get picked up on under exam conditions

The "blessing" (the consercration) happens earlier in the Tridentine Mass. The Aguns Dei is prayed before holy communion is received.
