Notice the use of the song 'Brazil'. Could this be an allusion to Terry Gilliam's movie of the same name (named after the song)? If you've seen the movie 'Brazil', do you understand the connection? The message is very similar to 'WALL-E'. Also George Lucas's THX-1138. Naturally, 'WALL-E' has a more optimistic tone and is less dystopian, but the spirit is the same.
I love WALL-E. It's a great Pixar movie! Its sad that the late Joe Ranft never got a chance to see it! He would of loved it and he would of been very proud of it! He was a great Storyman for Pixar! R.I.P. JOE RANFT 1960-2005
