Human can see the most basic building block of matter, we can even see what makes up that exact Atom, and see it's even smaller particles. We can even create synthetic elements using what we have...We can see outside our solar system, and see the countless of stars, clusters, and etc...we are able theorize what's beyond this universe, & we can even prove so much more..
But us Humans still haven't figured out the reason, the purpose, the function, or reality to why we are here, & why we exist...

Maybe calling it "God" is false, it could (in MY opinion) be anything, and not a being, perhaps the on-going edges of our universe is just one big infinite program. Or what can be thought to be a organism. with no purpose, or any, a organism that just keeps on multiplying countlessly..So what I'm saying is this, Our reality, could be just another cell, or part of this program, part of this energy..Humans can only theorize and conceive what's under our sense organs, so who's right, & who's wrong?

i dont have to read it because to be honest with you, I completely agree with you. I agree because I didnt need much science and I started thinking about pretty deep stuff, and I'm only 1 person and this was like age 13, so yeah I think your right in that point, but science can be considered the muscle and religion can be like that passion and mind or heart we use to seek these things out. Something like that, you understand? The same thing but 2 different forms, literal v mathematical.

Amazing. I never knew this. God as pure spirit, I see. Does the Catechism have anything to say, explicitly or otherwise, about the God portrayed in the Old Testament, which appears to many people (inc. myself) as - not to put too fine a point on it - somewhat primitive and barbaric? Thx.

Catholic Chatecghism paragraph 370 "In no way is God in man's image. He is neither man nor woman. God is pure spirit in which there is no place for the difference between the sexes. But the respective "perfections" of man and woman reflect something of the infinite perfection of God: those of a mother and those of a father and husband"

I did not know that according to Christian ideology God is neither male or female. This is interesting. Could you say a little bit more about this, citing sources if possible.

Haha, read up on religion and the past. Havn't done enough of that through my life,(note:sarcasm :P), no thank you I'll pass on that one. The past?, you must mean history, do that on a day to day basis.

EXACTLY! science just say that they don't have enough proof to say ANYTHING about religion.

you seriously have to start reading up on your religion and the past.... all modern science is doing is rediscovering everything that we have already discovered but giving it a more precise name. there's entanglement theory, superstring theory, polarity, and the ten-dimensional universe theory. it may sound that science is moving us forward, but once you read all of the works of the past, we haven't discovered ANYTHING yet.
