A Slow Hot Wind (Lujon) was written on the '50's for a TV series. I heard it in the mid '60s when I was a teenager.

Saw the movie...this fits perfectly with the New York scene in Two Lovers....At first sounded a little like Martin Denny. Haven't heard it before...brought back that Martini Magic of the 50's. Luved it five stars, Anyone know which album of Henry Mancini it is on?

I certainly do enjoy much of the music of Henry Mancini. He was one of the finest writers and arrangers of my lifetime. Furthermore there was so much diversity in his work. He could direct the most swinging of big bands or write and play music of stunning beauty and sensitivity. Yes, definately one of my favourite musicians.

Indeed he could, it is a shame that his anthems persist no more. Did you see any of his gigs?
