Boardman helped kickstart the current success of Brit cycling.. a cool dude.

great record and good documentary but find the eddie merckx record for real inspiration!. He competes on what looks like a courier bike today, with only toe clips, outside, on rough concrete (not wood like boardman) he managed 49.43, oh and he had been racing professionally all year not preparing just for the race. He is still the real champ, no one else has come close on a traditional style bike.
