Kreisler is too often overlooked as a performer of classics. His performances of 2 Mozart/Beethoven/Brahms and Bruch 1 are also among the best.. The Grieg and Beethoben sonatas with Rachmaninoff are legendary IMO.

I own this and it is excellent- but it is too much a tribute to Menhuin to the espense of others.
