The video of the very first moon landing of the apollo 11 mission in 1969! Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon with his now legenday words "One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind." This is a truly amazing video and it was in 1969!!! If you think about it, you have orders of magnitude more processing power in your mobile phone than they did in the whole space craft!! Incredible!

I don't need YT to make me smart. But YOU WERE RIGHT. it's should be "Exponential", not "Geometric". It's just that recently I have been using the latter term (which means "linear growth") frequently in the software project we r currently working on. Thanks for clarifying.
("The schools in the USA are #1 in the world. That's why all of you people come here.")
Ofcourse they are. I hope U understand friend, I m not trying to generalise things into "USA V. India". Becos that would be wrong. The whole World is about Darwin's principle:"The Survival of the Fittest". My point is : " OFCOURSE, schools in USA are #1 but a hired migrated guy like me replaces a local guy for the job as he has the better potential. Anyway,...
"AI" and "Oydessy". Both belong to Kubrick. But for me "AI" take the edge. From whatever I have learned in my Post-graduation in Physics (plus a part of "AI"), I think Kubrick's "AI (2001)" was a more huge/complex challenge to handle n Spielberg did it successfully. Irrespective of its BO returns. "AI(2001)" is not made for the common movie-fan but for discerning guys who understand Physics a little more than usual. I tho' still have nothing against "Oydessy". It's a good movie if not better.
OOhhh! BIG BOY WORDS! If only you had a respectable education, you wouldnt have run out of dumb talking points nearly so fast. ;) Its YOUR fault you came in here with zero fact, YOUR fault you were dumb enough to think watching a 30 sec movie made you an expert. You're going to get laughed at repeatedly by me and other REAL experts as long as you keep pretending. You picked the wrong topic to come unprepared to.
I'm going to trust a "piece of paper" before I trust an ignorant youtard with delusions of superherodom. Such "papers" are given as a result of experience and education, whereas all youtards require is a cut and paste of a nerd webpage. Contest? YOU keep the idiots, I'll keep the professionals with their "paper," and then you can explain why you got the better deal ;)
Dont embarrass yourself by even using the word "engineer." You have zero experience is anything about them and can only whine
Did you ever think to just ignore it and watch the video if it bothers you that much? Doesn't look like we will make it very far in the near future with all the cuts from Nasa. We are retiring the Shuttles and will rely on others to get us to the ISS. Orion has been delayed and the dangers of a long stay have not been resolved. Looks like we are stuck here on earth better clean up our act.
People shut up, arguing while watching this beautiful piece of American history is almost slanderous. Just watch and enjoy it and let it give you goosebumps to wonder where we will be in the future
Oh so you are one of those morons that need a piece of paper to tell you that you can do it.
I have many pieces of paper but that's just it paper is not the real world. Fact engineers can make things work on paper but in the real world they can't function. I n other words that's why they need field technicians to actually make there products of paper function in the real world. Any field tech will tell you that an engineer ain't worth a shit in the real world of the product they produce.

Regarding the point that India needs more of plumbing, Cable and whatever...
Remember, Generalised Comments hurt.
Especially when USA hires 90% of its Software guys from India and astronauts Kalpana Chawla and Rakesh Sharma were Indians.
