Russell and his new Softailproject for 2009 Exile Cycles announce the introduction of a complete line of bolt-on parts for stock Harley Softails. Designed by Russell Mitchell, these components will allow you to transform your ride in to a custom with all the toughness and simplicity of an Exile, whilst maintaining all the function and reliability of the stock Harley. All the Exile-style but with HD title, insurance, warranty and financing! Pictured here is a 07 Softail Standard transformed into a beautiful Bar-hopper with 100% bolt-on parts (no cutting, no welding)! Among the new range are horn and coil relocation kits, various knurled covers, forward control adapter plates, bolt-on kickstand kit, hidden switchgear and open belt primary drives. Add this to existing Exile offerings such as wheels, brakes, forwards, bars, pipes and front ends and you have the ingredients for one sweet ride. For more information visit Exile Cycles.

$5- for a pack of Scotch-Brite pads and you too can have the same look on your stock Harley. Just "scuff" all the chrome. "Automatic" clutch with suicide shift? If you want that, you should just stick with a mini-van. And good luck adjusting the bars to what is comfortable for you without a cut-off wheel and welder. DIY and feel better about yourself when you ride instead of pose. Get an S&S air filter cover and "Scotch-Brite" it. Don't buy the hype!
