como es posible que el ser humano con un artefacto destruya tantas almas inocentes eso es una aberracion una crueldad tan aberrante, la guerra es el cancer mundial aprendamos a vivir con paz ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
You bleeding hearts fail. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both valid targets. Hiroshima was the site of General Hata's army. Did you know that 45k that died at Hiroshima were soldiers? Nagasaki was a military production complex. And Japan wasn't going down without a fight, look up Operation Ketsugo.
I like it how you whiners moan about the dead japs, and gloss over the millions of innocents killed in Asia. Hmm, a nuclear bomb to end a war compared to bayoneting a baby in the air just for kicks?
Many people ask this question. Well, The reason the bomb took up so much place is not only because of the chemical reaction but because of the radiation fused with heat waves. That's what caused most of the damage that was done.
Actually. The United States of America's president Truman, was not going to use the bomb against Japan. Soviets had no play in the decision to use it. Truman decided to use it by calculating the loss of soldiers per day compared to the detonation of two Atomic bombs (One in Nagasaki and one in Hiroshima). Hiroshima and Nagasaki were small cities at the time, Hiroshima of 300,000 and Nagasaki of 135,000. Truman decided to drop the bomb, so Japan would surrender and the loss of life would be fewer
Actually, in a way hippydude's right, but not in the way he thinks. Concern about the Soviet Union did influence the American decision to drop the bomb. They wanted to end the war before the Soviets got in on any peace settlement, which would likely have divided Japan between capitalist and communist, much like Germany was.
