HEY EVERYONE THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS! THIS IS MY NEW YOUTUBE NICK!

Any way to answer the questions.

Yes i am playing in d position

yes i tune down half a step

the ds dont all have an F# on the bottom i mute the e string thats all

I actually play all my chords in a D2 position, just mainly walking the bass note around.

THANKS!

why do acoustic players have to play EVERYTHING in G position? This song is still very easy to play in D without a capo... great job btw love this song.

in my opinion, the G position is actually one of the 2 or 3 keys that sound best on a standard 6 string... the others being C and E. a common misconception is that the G position is the only key these players know (sometimes the case), but a lot of the time it just sounds better and provides more texture to the song to capo and play in G.

Actually he isnt playing in the G position. Look closely and you can tell he is playing in D. You can tell he is playing in D because he plays the B minor chord many times in this song. And B minor is the relative minor for D.

oh duh i guess i wasn't paying attention. i just saw the capo and thought G cuz he plays his D's with the F# on the bottom with his middle finger and it looks weird. i guess he's tuned a half step down. oh and Bm is the relative minor for D...but Bm is also in the key of G....and A...

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2

God does not wish for us to conform to worldly patterns (and yes, churches can follow worldly patterns). He wishes for us to break free from the mold and test our own faith. Whether you are a believer or non-believer, open your mind and deepen your resolve in your beliefs...

As for the issue of people trying to indoctrinate others in their beliefs, anyone who truly believes something does that because none of us want to see others going down what we feel to be the wrong path. Christians are always trying to open the eyes of Atheists and Atheists are always trying to open the eyes of Christians. In the end, no matter the amount of pressure one way or the other, you're the one that makes the decision as to what you truly believe. The is free will...
