I own AKs and I love them and all, but I wouldn't want one in real combat situations. Their inaccurate and the recoil doesn't help anything.. Still at close range a powerful rifle, and oh so fun to shoot.

And yes, you can legally own any rifle that is semi-automatic in the US with a class-2 license auto with class-3, though some states have exceptions.

Agreed, Remington 700 beats all, though I'd say the M-4 is the best asault rifle, they had skewed results because they didn't take into count the weight or amount of ammo that can be carried.

A week are you serious? I could field strip and clean an M16 in minutes... Or did he mean thats how long it would take him to teach someone to do it? If so I learned in a day lol
