That's true about 1:30, but the opening part, from 1:14 until then, has an F minor slant (due to the D-flats), and it ends on F major, so that's why it seemed that way to me. But I guess the main theme does begin in C minor, true to the title.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but now that you mention it, parts of it strongly resemble the main theme of Castle in the Sky--both use the same sort of harmonic sequences with somewhat similar orchestration.

Seems to me like you don't know music theory that well... The piece is in C minor.
At 1:30 it starts with C minor and goes to G minor....
