Stone Skipping 50+

HOLY SHIT

Yea we knew it was over 40 so we had 2 camcorders and we slowed it down and everyone got between 53 and 55 so we sent it in as at least 51. That was the first throw and we had over 5 that were over 40.
Guinness looks for concentri circles that shows the stone is not dragging which would produce a V pattern. We are going to try for 60 probably next week. :) Now that's a challange.

how are you counting the putterings when the stone levels out toward the end? i usually just count relatively fast for the duration of it. ill get from 30-50 on really good ones but theres no way for me to know if im being accurate or not. did you slow the video down to count?

Thats why u set up for the record, good weather and a bunch of stones and just send in the good ones, I got 7 over forty that day out of about 30 throws we think that one was the best, not sure they are hard to count. Go for the record !

Shirt was from a fund raiser for the Mackinac Library at the National Championship we bought a bunch cause it rained and sales were slow, just trying to help out. I kinda like it. That bad huh? Okay I have no taste in clothes you win :)
