Well it depends, not all underground music. Some of it just sucks, but some of it is really good too. You have to figure that much of it is underground for a reason.
Scremo is underground for example, and it is downright aweful. It will never be aboveground because it requires no talent or skill, it just sucks. People just listen to it because it sounds cool to say you listen to underground music, when the truth is it is cool to listen to GOOD underground music

i would disagree, the 00s may have sucked for music as in mainstream.
but 1) our dads generation probs thought the same about their music
2) alot of good music has been produced these 10 years just not mainstream.
you look at RHCP, Bruce Springsteen, REM foo fighters etc they ALL have released new good albums over the 00s.

but yeah screamo really doesnt suit me, mind you its just a different interpretation on music. what i think sucks others think rule, & vice versa

you do know Rorys old band (taste) was called back for 5 encores at the isle of wright concert in 1970 where hendrix, the doors, jethro tull, leonard cohen, the who and other acts were playing for 600,000.
anybody that was there all gave the general statement
''taste (ie rory gallagher & band) blew the crowd away & was one of the biggest highlights of the concert'' (it lasted liek 5 days)
RHCP opened for rolling stones, they said it was the s*ittest thing ever that the crowd were boring f*cks

That's nice. You go find those people and you can share neat Rory stories. Maybe start a fan club or something. You can print up newsletters and everything. That'd be neat.

just paid your page a visit, your a 34 year old american who acts like a 12 year old with sarcastic humor & posts videos slagging off things, and has comments about how s*it your taste in music is .
somehow i find that hard to believe
i'm done with you, you cannot debate for s*it.
hopefully some day you will cop on the rolling stones arnt the only thing to ever play on the radio.

Right. When somebody points out the very real fact that Rory Gallagher is a fading memory at best, just rely on personal insults when you have nothing to back up your own arguments. Talk about acting like a 12 year old.

just because an artist isnt heard of doesnt mean they are automatically s*it.
i can promise you the rolling stones have influences by bands that never made it big.
also blues isn't a mainstream genre especially during the 70s and late 60s.
RS appealed to that era's music which was more rock based (rock has huge influences from blues).
