Now you are talking about creating something. First design and engineering, and now creation?
Once again - design, engineering - and now creation as well, apparantly - are cognitive processes demanding intelligence, no matter how much time it takes, or however many prototypes.
did you not read a word i wrote. you would be laughed at in any university with these stupid replies if this was a real debate.
You keep missing the point. The process of designing and engineering a machine takes time and many designs to perfect the machine to do a specific job.
This is the same as evolution. For instance a leopard has evolved through many designs getting better and more focused to able for it to run 60 miles an hour and catch it prey with lightly accuracy.
This is the result of the leopards ancestors mating with the fastest and most proficient leopards and creating a species of animal which is fast and angle and has all the unique characteristics which make a leopard what it is. this is not some force or designer else were molding the leopard to its will it just the leopards or the ancestors of the leopards modeling their future via natural selection to do the specific job of running fast and catching prey with accuracy.
I would certainly agree with the idea of natural selection, but that is a reaction, or adaptation to forces or factors from outside. At the end of the day you have to decide whether evolution is a random process or a planned process. If it was random, you can't really talk about engineering, design or creation, as these things presuppose some kind of will or intelligence. Perhaps we'll have to leave it there - my kids complain when I spend too much time on these forums! I wish you well.
the process of evolution is not random but the forces that act up the process is random. DNA has been there from the beginning. evolution does not explain how life was first created it just explains that since the first single celled organisms were on the earth 4 billion years ago. many millions of species of creatures have evolved from that soup to what is on the earth now by the process of natural selection with random external forces molding each new generation to survive and procreate
This is because the leopards live in an environment which required them to have the design of running fast and catching there prey with accuracy or they would not get food. they would then be weak and they would not have been the best and strongest leopard to create the next generation with. And this is no cognitive process this is just pure survival with a need to procreate which every organism has instinctually at it core (even bacteria).

Later take care.
