Exactly! I appreciate the freedoms I enjoy now because I have experienced life under a repressive dictatorship. My only peeve is people who don't have the benefit of such experiences supporting evil because they've been misinformed.

Let's take the example of a free press. Whether or not there are large news agencies controlling the public media with biased reporting or manipulating public opinion, the government isn't going to throw you in jail for publishing your own points of view unless you're inciting violence. Thats the case in the US anyway, I'm assuming its the same in the UK.

were you there as a tourist or for any extended length of time where you lived there, earned a living and became part of Cuban society? Because I can tell you, the life of the average native Cuban is very different and the injustices you complain about are far more severe and blatant for the native Cuban.
