No man I think what PIL done early on in their career with Jah Woble was fantastic.
I just think this particular song see's PIL adopting The Cure's style.
I think if wasn't for Joy Division & punk music in general the Cure would've turned out very different.

yea....the Jah wobble era was a good time for them, to me Johnny's voice only got better after the sex pistols, & much of early brit pop does owe sooo much to Joy Division. such ashame about Ian Curtis.

Johnny doesn't have much of voice.
The Kinks, Small Faces, Rolling Stones & 60's psychedelic garage/rock & roll inspired brit-pop more than Joy Division did.
