IMO this rifle is a good rifle, never shot one myself, but looks deadly accurate, light, low recoil, good rate of fire, good handling, easy to strip down. But really, what sets it apart from, say, the FAMAS, the Tar-21, the F2000, the Khaybar, G36, XM8, and other such futuristic looking weapons?

I personally think the G36 should have been in one of the top 10 for its reliability, accuracy, adaptability, and recoil control...

I am currently in the military in Austria and I can say the AUG is a best. Extremely deadly up to 300 m in my hands =)

Its very light, only 4,1 kg with a full mag and easy to handle and maintain. And very little recoil.

the Australian version is the F88, ive used one before, there a pretty nice gun, the only problem i saw was that they can jam, although it is rarely.

Neither can i.

I have read some very good things about it & a few complaints but nothing major.

Its light weight. Has above average accuracy & has good stopping power.

The gun gets the job done with a clean & crisp look. Although i wonder what its durability is? like can it take a beating & still maintain accuracy & operating efficiency even after being dropped in water or mud.

It's supposed to be very durable. It's plastiic body is more waterproof and resistant than typical metal stampings.
