Nicholas Sparks has really lost his touch with this one. I didn't like this movie at all but Dear John looks amazing.

very nice movie. def way better than the notebook. i balled at the end! was so sad. richard gere is one of those actors i like but don't like if that makes sense.

When I saw it in the cinema, I wasn't over the moon.. BUT since I got it on DVD.. it's become one of my most treasured love movies. You have to let yourself become absorbed in it. I watched it in a dark room on my own and was a balling mess.. which means it was bloody good!!

You have to get engrossed into the story.. which isn't hard with two gifted actors like Diane and Richard though..

It's not the sort of movie you can watch with distractions..
