This is one of my favorites. It's very nice to see someone let go of some bitterness about something that wasn't their fault, and to not see his dyslexia the way everyone else does.

You probably have some talent that makes up for it though and the extra work you have to do to get around your disability will make you a more disciplined, harder working person. In the long run you may find that you've gained an advantage over other people because of the disability.

Hi
A trial has been carried out at Staffordshire uni by Mr David Hillidge his finding have shown that my hypothesis is correct go to Youtube put in The Primary Cause of Dyslexia.
A given language is taught with disregard to preference meaning a right to left scanner would not develop dyslexia if the text was in there preferred scanning direction. This is confirmed by the development of the Greek language between 1000BC to 550 BC and in particularly Boustrophedon.

Excellent snapshot of how dyslexia can affect a person. Also I note how courageous this man is in openly displaying his 'difficulty'... Dyslexics are differently abled not disabled, though they do fall foul to the aggressive people in society. When someone says are you stupid when you ask them to spell something, my reply to them would be..'Look if you can't spell it just say and I'll ask someone who can'. GOOD LUCK TO ALL DYSLEXICS.

If this "work" helps other people, great, but I don't get her, it just does not make sense for me.

I like the way of Kate Bron's and way of thinking. the other person to help themselves to self teaching, also self motivate himself. But I don't agree with some negative work she doing with turning it into entertainment of the audience witch his giving this 42 yr old mixed messages in my opinion its really unfair on him. I personally think myself anyway.
