i always love people's reaction to Bangs and other writers in general. Whether they are needed or not is irrelevant and it's in people's nature to analyze and and dissect any given form of art or expression around them, it has nothing to do with lacking talent nor ability this is simply where some people's creativity lies, in studying and breaking down what others do to its core, and their interpretations don't have to be all encompassing, they can serve as mere suggestions and not gospel
First he admits to WORSHIPING Roxy Music, but when Ferry snubs him at a party, he rails against him and Roxy for the rest of his life. What a pathetic, puerile asshole.
Well, say you were at a party and you meet one of your favorite singers and you say you're one of all-time favorite singers and you inspire me so much and the singer basically ignores you. Wouldn't you be a little pissed off at him? I would.
That's not the point. He went on railing against Roxy Music for years after that, based on that experience. It was stupid, childish and unprofessional.
Anyway, Ferry can choose whom he wants to talk to. Lester came off like some idiotic fan, which I'm sure didn't help.
