April 2002 Over 2 million people in India need urgent cardiac treatment but few can afford even basic health care, let alone heart surgery.
Cardiologist Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty has set up a network of coronary care units across the country. Like his former patient Mother Teresa, Dr. Shetty's work has saved thousands of lives and elevated him to a godly status among patients. However, he's adamant that he's "just doing what I'm supposed to do... just being a human."

This man is a living saint. It proves that money isn't everything. It;s the sacrifce, the use of his God given mind, skills and the value of a life that makes this man a living saint compared to other greedy doctors and the corrupt system of health care. This video actually brought tears to my eyes.
