The Jesus that Catholics worship is the same as anyother. Horus was born of a virgin. There wasn't a sexual impregnation. Isis fluttered in the air in the form of a hawk and was impragneted with his Ka.

There was no Nazareth; the town "Nazareth" became historicised only after the Jesus figure had become part of Christian belief. For example, Josephus does not mention Nazareth in his list of towns around Galilee. It is very likely that "Nazareth" was a mistranslation of the Greek "Nazaraioi", not a town but a group of people. The scribes created that town (or village) as they mistranslated the text. Jesus "from the Nazaraioi" seems more reasonable in that case.

One interesting passage from the Book of Revelation proves that there was knowledge of Horus being like that of Jesus in Christian times: 11:7.

The passage proves an awareness amongst the apostles that a god was crucified in Egypt. John seems to have known about the Book of Am Duat also. The references to beasts, seals, lambs, and heavenly brides are all Egyptian motifs from the stellar and solar cultus.

just to correct u.. you stated Horus being like that of Jesus - no its the other way around. Jesus being like that of Horus - just correcting you. Paul, knew alot of stuff, and has influence the Holy Bible - alot - so did the Romans and the Roman Catholics, that burnt alot of scripture. question is why ??

That's just semantics. Jesus is like Horus - Horus is like Jesus. I agree with you, though, Paul was influential; he was the Church's greatest missionary. But I think the Church had inherited (or borrowed) a load of pagan motifs when the gospels were written anyway. Jesus being born in Bethlahmu (Bethlehem) the "house of bread/meat" is a big give-away, not to mention the birth and adoration of the baby child which originated at the temple of Luxor in Egypt.

The conversion of the pagans was largely based upon the orders of high officials realising that to end the feuds in the empire between the religious cults, they had to create a religion which incorporated elements of pagan worship and "non-pagan" worship. Just research "Dionysus and King Pentheus" and compare it with Jesus before Pilate. Striking to say the least!

You should do some research. There are many ancient versions of the Horus myth because of theological differences amongst the priesthood. Isis the mother of Horus was definately virgin; it is written on the walls of the temple of Menmaatra in Egypt. Indeed Jesus was not born on that date, but Horus was and the Church ascribed that to Jesus because that is how they converted the pagans.
