love this woman. I was at this gig aged 13 with my big sister. I miss the old Town and country club. One of the best gigs I've been to.

thank u so much. I was at this gig. It is still the best. I rememeber NME saying the old Town and country club could have a power cut and she would still ROCK!!!! If i wasnt taken I would say i fancy this foxy chick

This song is, I believe, one of THE best songs ever written. It's cinematic, the lines are utter poetry...and her voice> Maria McKee should be revered if one for this ONE song -- let alone for her whole amazing catalog. She is a true treasure -- I have had her songs in my heart all my life, since I first swa her when I was maybe 21, probably 1978...
