I think you'll find that christians ended slavery but then created racist systems just as bad as slavery like JIM CROW in the USA and Apartheid in South Africa. Jim Crow white christian racist discrimination against Blacks did not end until the late 60's and Apartied (created by White Christians) did not end until 1994. So your point really is no point. What good is ending slavery and then putting the former slaves under a racist unfair system?!

While i'll agree its wrong in any form or fashion i think you'll find that the U.S. treated slaves far worse too. In the U.S. slaves didn't even have the right to own property and they sure the hell didn't get out of slavery by marriage or converting to Christianity slaves in Muslim countries were treated more like what you would call an Indentured Servant so of course people didn't find it quite as inhuman because of the fact it had always been so much more mild over there.
