I think the minute the Developed world's Foreign policy takes that approach it will be exponentially beneficial for all peoples involved.

The Great Task of my Generation (the so called "Millenials") is to find a way for cultures and creeds to coexist in an ever shrinking world.

Unfortunately, for love to drive out hate both sides need to love and extremists have no love for anything other than there own ideas. Love needs to be a mutual thing for it to work, just like any loving relationship and as long as there are extremists willing to kill to force in there beliefs there needs to be people to fight back and defend our right to freedom. I'm all for peace but if there is no other option, kick the other bastards ass!!

There are extremists on all sides, not just with the Muslims. You have to keep in mind that the extremists are a minority, and I believe we could overcome them if we listened to people like martinithegr8.

there is a problem with that though. You cannot go looking for extremists to fight. You will never find them...You will just kill millions of more people trying to find those few people that are bad. There is never an excuse to kill innocent people to find the bad guys, WAR is ignorant and unwise. Anyone who believes war can serve a good purpose has very low critical thinking skills.

We don't need to go looking for them, they come out to us, did you not see what happened to the two towers? Those were extremist. Also, your sense of pacifism is pretty ignorant, sometimes violence is the only way. Like Stalin said, not that I support him, "Death solves everything, no man , no problem". Sure in trying to stop extremists innocent people will die, but innocent people die if you don't anything, might as well go out with a fight, at least do something.

"Go our with a fight"? We aren't going out. The only way we will "go out" is if we continue fighting. There was a reason America was attacked, "America" does TERRIBLE things. Most Americans r 2 ignorant and arrogant to notice. Though as I said earlier, war (or violence) solves nothing, it just leads 2 more violence, because most people never try 2 understand WHY someone attacks. People just retaliate with their own reasons. Both the American military and the "terrorists" are childish monsters.
