it was awesome! i was in chermside for this one. it wasn't as bad there but it was still one heck of a wall of water! i was at a shopping center and a shopping trolly in the rooftop was blown so hard by the wind that it dinted 2 cars. it only traveled about 20m

loli've seen about 4 this good in the past 2 years (including this one lol) trust me you didn't want to be there! i've seen one huge hailstorm that sent me off to europe! a thunderstorm that produced a tornado 2 weeks after the hail one and a flood about a month after that. not to mention going to brisi to pick up a formal dress and running into this storm! we tried to drive a 5 min trip before it hit when we left we thought we had about 15 mins or so... in truth we had about 3. it moved fast!

I envy you for getting to experience that!!
we had the June 07 storm / flood / ship getting beached...but our storm in Newcastle wasnt anywhere near as cool and hectic as that storm!!

lol i remember playing computer when it happened, then the power went out, looked out the window and there were small branches falling down. These branches turned into entire trees, so i though, time to move away from the window
