Why we Orthodox Christians pray?

SilentQ, your comments have rightfully not been responded to by others. If I am right, reading your comment, you belong to the faith same as mine i.e. atleast not a Christian. But why such a babble and why calling names to followers? It is this kind of irresponsible behaviour that brings bad name to our faith. So long as their is faith in God, that's all that matters. Being respectful of other faiths is one of the basic teachings of the faith you and I belong to. Follow this teaching

Christ does not hear your prayers.

Christ does not sustain the universe.

Christ does not do anything anymore until the day he comes back.

You know with all the fighting going on, I think this can be the one thing that brings us all toghether, our Orthodox faith. I'm of both Georgian and partial Russian ethinicity, and all I hear about is fighting.

nice vid, that is pretty much what i though prayer was for. And he is right that it is hard to pray , to find the time to do so. But we should do our best.

I did not say any details because you have your mind set. you throw accusations and objections that some you should know the answer like Jesus left a Church behind and also had doctrine. so what is your belief?
