The aid to Egypt is a briobe paid by the USA so that Egypt will do what Israel wants them to. Seal off the Gaza border and play nice with Israel no matter what they do to the Palis. This was all negotiated as part of the Begin Nasser Carter agreement. If Israel paid Egypt to $2 billion, it woiuld simply be a bribe. But they get the US taxpayer to pay it -- making it a de facto addition to the package paid to Israel

It's like me counting every ball bearing that Hamas & Hezbulah pack into their non-guided rockets aimed at civilians as a seperate rocket. If Israel had actually dropped millions of cluster bombs over Gaza there would be no Gaza. You're thinking of Lebanon. Look at a map. It will start making sense.
