After the encore, Rufus invited his mother Kate and sister Martha up onstage to sing "Hard Times (Come Again No More)," an 1855 song by Stephen Foster (Martha and Kate were, in fact, sitting right behind me). All of us in the audience, still standing from our standing ovation, were completely mezmerized (nobody sat down, or moved a muscle). The Gramercy, 6/6/07.
