When I first heard this version, I was ready to kick and scream and hate it, desecration of a national treasure and all that... but then I thought about it, heard the interviews on Hack on JJJ and realised this is a tribute to both the original version and the men remembered in the original version, not an attempt to make a quick buck off a great song. It's not pro-war or anti-war, it's pro-courage, honour and mateship. It doesn't celebrate, or glorify, it just remembers. 5 stars for the Herd.
