Hamas won a democratic election.
Gaza's own people chose Hamas to lead them. Hamas as a terrorist organization now imposes their will on civilians and fires rockets from residential places. When Israel spots these firing pads and fires on them, civilians are bound to get hurt. Now Hamas addresses the world saying they bombarded innocent residential homes while leaving no trace of a firing pad. Genius. Now Israel has to defend itself from the outraged world media having no proof to support them.

Israel probably would not receive any of these rockets if it did not break its ceasefires removed the illegal settlements allowed the palestinians to recieve medical aid and did not place sanctions on building materials so that the palestinians can rebuild their own civilian infrastructure(hospitals, civil service buildings etc) also if they did not brace civilians to vehicles as human shields arrest and imprison children as young as 8 and fire indescriminatley into UN aid camps.
