@TriplesodHahaha why is everyone on this page grappling about accent differentiations? We know that British people don't speak this way it's just funny. Every country makes fun of one another! I'm a HUGE python fan and in they make fun of Americans ALL of the time. When I lived in London for a year you wouldn't BELIEVE how many people were shocked that I wasn't a "cowboy." or cowgirl as the case my be with me. Either way, it's all in good fun :) I don't know what I would do without the British!
We've got to act like grown-up people, and ignore ethnocentric, adolescent-minded assholes like deceiver123m. British comedy, when properly done (as the Python does it) is the finest, most subtle humor on Earth, even when couched in crude seeming dick jokes. My best example: Sir Terry Pratchett.
@slimfchance1 Agreed (Especially the amazing mix of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman) On a side note, I'd like to apologize on behalf of reasonably minded Americans for allowing that person access to the internet.
There were six Pythons. Five of them were Brits plus the American Terry Gilliam who was born in Medicine Lake, Minnesota.
Gilliam did all the Python's animations, while his most famous acting role was probably that of a character called Patsy in Holy Grail. He was the guy who trotted behind King Arthur clicking the two halves of coconut together.
