Is there no licensing law problems with marketing this as a "Supermarine" Spitfire when clearly the company is not the British supermarine company that originaly built this plane? This is not a spitfire in any shape or form? Would i be happy to see this line up with the Battle of Britain memorial flight? no!
thats nice any idea how much it would cost ?
well if your not happy with it saxonsoldiers maybe you should show them how it is done.
@Saxonsoldiers Just checked, Vickers Armstrong brought the original supermarine.

Chev vy, that is, not chewy, as it looks to me...
Chevvy V8.
Maybe if they make some bucks, a reproduced RR Griffon/Merlin might be on the cards. We can only dream.
Its a different sound, not the same awe-inspiring thunder, but I still love that sound whether its coming from a 60's sports car or plane.
She's pretty close, man! Besides, there's always the originals ;)
Yah ... but still sounds fantastic - pretty hard to replicate that 21 litre V12 sound I reckon
Doesnt sound the same :(:(
