Just another bit of trivia. Steve Rowland, the band's producer for this song, wanted Mick's drum sound to sound like his roommate when he was in his bedroom shagging whatever chick he had brought over for the night. His roommate's headboard to his bed used to hit Steve's wall in that exact rhythm! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

I just got the out of print "Complete Collection" 2-CD set and these guys were just friggin' great! My absolute favorite is "The Wreck Of The Antoinette." Check out THAT ONE! However, just as music lovers today have their individual tastes, I'm sure it was the same back then too. Back then I wonder if you could walk up to a Rolling Stones or Yardbirds fan, ask them their opinion on Dave Dee & Co. and they'd reply with "What? Dave Dee? Oh that's PUFF MUSIC mate!"

I love this band and this song it's just too f----- cool, the rhythm the cloths everything. i'm seriously considering buying a pair of "Dave Dee pants" The 60's fashion was really something :)
