It looks really good. Great job!. I actually prefer using cloth modifier since there are a lot more settings to control the behavior of the objects. But it shouldn't matter which one you use as long it does whatever you need it to do. In my case, reactor wasn't useful because I wanted to constrain some of the "cloth" vertexes to other ones of same piece. For the hair, it didn't work either since it didn't detect very well small collision object such as fingers.

How did you do to make the hair oriented to the gravity? any constrain or hand made animation. I do 3ds max as well so I can tell you this is is a lot of good done work!!

Very clever.
I use cloth modifier cuz Reactor seems to be a lot more complicated

Learn to use Reactor.. Its not hard as it first seems just takes some time in beginning to set it up. But end resoult is so rewarding with Cloth :)

Reactor is no longer the standard solution for cloth simulation in 3ds max, cloth modifier has a lot of features as point cache, animatables parameter, etc wich make it the best suitable solution. Reactor is good but not as good as cloth modifier in cloth simulation.IMHO
