Hi, I bought a cooking vessel which was made of plastic or something like that (my English ain't that good) and it mentioned on top that it was safe for microwave use and for 120C temperature, I tried to make pop corn and the plastic melted, is it possible that it overheated that much, could it be that the microwave sign was not true?
I don't think to have cells being heated up in your head. It has to do somethings that research isn't going to show but common sense can. Limit phone use. Some people are addicted to it.
will do,and by the way... I found a guy who described a cause-effect mechanism, you should check him out... his name is George Carlo... (for you people, I'm talking about cell phone radiation)
well done, one of the better "de-bunking" vids that i have seen, calm and clear. I also nearly clicked of when I heard the words "Christian law and fellowship".
Jason, THANK YOU for this rational fact-based presentation! I nearly clicked off the video when I heard the guy talk about getting his "facts" from "the Christian law and fellowship."
Microwaves do cook food differently, (not dangerously) because they heat water molecules from the inside. That's why "nuking" can change the texture of bread and some meats in ways we find objectionable. However, the facts are as you state: with proper use and care, microwaves are safe.
Ionising radiation is dangerous, microwaves are non-ionising radiation. Exposure to UV, x-ray and gamma-ray electromagnetic radiation (ioising radiation) will damage cells. Microwave radiation is way below the energy of ionising radiation. A microwave photon does not have enough energy to detach electrons from an atom or molecule.
