It is the fulfillment of prophecy of a King that would come into the world and reconcile fallen man to the True and Living God. Jesus Christ is that fulfillment. Belief in His birth, living and dying as a man, and then raised from the dead in the power of God is faith that reconciles us to God. The bible tells us that we all are sinners separated from because of sin. God loved us so much that He sent His own Son to die the death we deserved to die and give us the life He deserved to live.

December 25 is not the birth day of Christ!
It is the Pagan Birth day of the Sun god.
Christmas is a Pagan Holiday, Wrapped in Christian Clothing. YHWH(God) Hates The Feastival known as Christmas! But He loves Us, And wants us to know the truth. Do some Reaserch and Pray very hard about this, And May the Lord Jesus Christ Guide you to the truth.

lor41558,

My heart has been moved by this movie and this song for more decades than I care to count. But afterall I do care to count them. The he smiled at me, me and my drum. In the wee hours, I cherish these.

Some of you are saying they don't show it anymore, they do in my city. I've watched it every year since little (I'm now 51). It always makes me smile yet tear up too.

"i don't think race limits one to religious viewpoints,"

That's quite true. A truly valuable thing is universal over race and countries. That exists in this story.
