How about the 98 Dodge Ram? Did the base models have a chime or a buzzer?

i believe the base models did have a buzzer up to 2000. I have an '87 with a nasty buzzer.

Meanwhile, the SLT models starting in 1998 used the chime instead, right?

Great! I'm going to convert my car run on biodiesel. It's just a bit cold sometimes in Finland :)

You dont need to convert to run on biodeisel. Biodiesel is made to run in engines without modifications. You only modify for running on straigt vedgetable oil.
