That's weird. When I first saw "it" I thought that it did look a little out of place. It's eyes seemed to stick out to much.

The skin/muscles around her eyes don't deform and crinkle up like a normal human's would, you can also notice this with her forehead and her lips if you look carefully enough.

That kind of balance between solidness and mushyness is basically the one thing we can't technology-handwave away yet.
