By the way Marines are not Soldiers, they are Marines.
I asked you to back up what you posted, it's been a week!
During Desert Storm the USMC was used as "bait" while the Army moved behind enemy forces. Also while the Army tooled in M1s the USMC was in M60s tho they fought a huge tank battle.
As well the only Amphibious Attack of the invasion was by Army Combat Engineers.
I could make a joke about how the Marines are the only force with Amfib APCs in a desert, but I wont, but 21Bs took a bridge with rubber boats and M16s for paddles.
All I ask is proof to what you people say.
The idea that the USMC does all the work & the ARMY cleans up is bull, the idea the Marines are always first into battle is bull as well.
There have been times when Marines have landed ahead for a beach head, but that only makes sense as thats #1 on what Marines do!
I'm not bashing Marines in any way, i'm giving credit were its deserved, giving those who served credit!
You USMC supporter guys have not backed up what your spew!
He's going to have kittens when I tell him what the USMC was used for during the opening operations of Desert Storm.
You know I was reading that Combat Engineers held more of the chunk of enemy body count during Storm, as Engineers in M9 ACE buried hundreds in bunkers.
All I ask is to prove a majority of battles have been fought by the USMC then after all that the Army gos in.
Please prove it!
FYI the Marines are a branch of the Navy, as a Navy person of higher rank can take control over a person & or group. And in same rank Navy is over USMC.
